Sub-Surface Waste Management of Delaware Inc. (formerly Pink Sheet Ticker: SSWM) has changed its name to Green Mountain Development Corp. and has changed its Pink Sheet Ticker: GMND.
Historically, the Company has provided civil and environmental project management services. GMND is a majority-owned subsidiary of U.S. Microbics, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BUGS).
The SSWM/GMND team designs, permits, builds, and operates environmental waste clean-up and water-quality enhancement systems using conventional, biological, and filtration technologies. In support of these services, SSWM provides site assessment, remediation planning, and oversight of plan implementation. Working with local universities, local companies, and local workers, SSWM works to clean up pollution to government-defined standards.

Site Assessment. SSWM collects and analyzes samples from the contaminated site and downstream to determine the types and amounts of contamination present, and the dynamics of the plume of pollution. Site assessments include field sampling, laboratory testing, and data review by experienced environmental remediation engineers. As a result of these efforts, the SSWM team can ascertain which contaminants are present, in what concentrations, and with what patterns of dispersal into the environment.
Remediation
Site Plan. Based on the site assessment results, SSWM formulates
a plan of action for reducing or eliminating contaminants. SSWM
remediation plans feature treating the problem at the source, to
eliminate the pollution before it travels downstream and pollutes a
wider area. SSWM remediation plans incorporate
the best of all available technologies and methodologies, including
bioremediation where applicable. As a result of
detailed site planning, SSWM determines what resources are required
to ensure successful remediation, and secures all applicable regulatory
agency approval.
Management of Remediation Operations. SSWM provides comprehensive project management services, including small and large-scale projects in the U.S.A. and internationally. SSWM applies the company’s expertise in civil and environmental engineering, combined with hands-on experience directly managing a wide range of environmental waste clean-up operations.
Special Projects. SSWM provides additional services related to cleaning up the environment, improving water quality, and recycling waste streams where applicable. As an example, SSWM has provided engineering and design support for potable-water dispensing systems for deployment in developing countries.
